Who we are
LedgerLex Language Studio is a Hong Kong boutique financial language desk. We work by email and deliver translation and related desk work for funds, listed reporting, IPO, and investor relations. This site is ledgerlexlanguagestudio.net.

What we collect
We do not run an account product on this site. There is no login, no user dashboard, and no marketing cookie wall.
When you email us, we receive the address you use, the message content, and any files or details you attach for a quote or a job. That is the personal data we hold from contact.
This site is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not set tracking cookies for advertising or analytics of our own. Your browser and the host may still generate ordinary server logs (for example IP address and page requested). We do not use those logs to build marketing profiles.
How we use it
We use enquiry email and job materials to reply, scope work, deliver translations and desk output, invoice, and keep a record of the engagement. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing
We share data only with processors we need for the work: for example email hosting, invoicing tools, or a linguist under our desk workflow. They see only what the job requires.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for unrelated marketing.
Retention
Enquiry mail and job files stay as long as the engagement and ordinary business records require, including follow up and accounting. When a record is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it in the ordinary course of desk housekeeping.
Your rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you may ask to access or correct personal data we hold about you. Write to elite@ledgerlexlanguagestudio.com and we will handle the request in line with that Ordinance.
Security and client files
Client materials stay inside the desk workflow. We treat files as confidential. NDAs are available on request before files move. Ask when you engage.
No method of transmission or storage is perfect. We take care that is reasonable for a small studio handling financial language work.
